20 September 08: A visit with my good friends John and Lois, whom I met for the first time today. I entered their home only to exit in short order, following them to the Trans Am. John is an automotive buff. In fact, he was reading a classic muscle car magazine when I arrived.
John enters the vehicle in nothing flat. The melodic rumble has the usual effect.
He is ready to roll. We drove and spoke for a while. John is doing well in his war against an Astrocytoma Grade 2/3. There was too much for me to take in! The memorabilia from the farm in Canada, including paintings and an enormous tractor from John's teenage days. The wood shop and turned bowls and other objects in their home. A quantity of project cars that John has on their 1.5 acre estate.
And hummingbirds that will light on your finger. I aim to return soon!
