Picking Up my 2nd Trans Am

December 2005: Looks like my 18 month search to replace my original Trans Am is over! Here are a series of pics showing my new Trans Am being picked up from Steve Petro in Michigan. The car will be transported to Texas in an enclosed trailer.

A professional inspection was performed on this car prior to my purchase of the vehicle to search for rust, evidence of previous damage or accidents and to checkout the functionality of the various systems of the car. This TA has matching PHS (Pontiac Historical Society) numbers, meaning that the engine number is identical to the serial number part of the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and the transmission number. So what I am getting is an authentic 1976 Trans Am; a 30 survivor in great shape with about 74,000 miles on the odometer.

This car is basically an exact match to my 1st Trans Am: Sterling Silver exterior, Firethorn Red interior,
400 cubic inch engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, power windows.
